It's the end of our second day.
Yesterday we stopped in Portland and visited with Linda's parents who live in King City, just south of Portland. We had dinner and breakfast with them.
We discovered that I had left the charging cable for Linda's computer at home, so we made a quick stop at the Apple store. Also our car is due for new tires and rather than pay Washington sales tax we decided to buy them in Oregon. Les Schwab was even having a sale!
Then it was on to Corvallis were we visited the Oregon State campus and did some reminiscing. It is where we met. Lots of changes, but still basically the same almost fifty years later.
Eugene, was next. Linda got her bachelors there and I got two masters. Cara graduated from there as well so more reminisces. Tomorrow we head over the pass to Klamath Falls, and then on to Reno.
